We are just checking in
On behalf of our Corner Capital team members, we first wish you, your families, and employees to be safe and healthy during this interesting and uncertain time. Equally important at this point is that we hope your business remains as healthy as possible and prepared to safely and successfully re-emerge when the COVID-19 restrictions are eased.
Since March 17, our team has continued to work with our clients on pending and upcoming transactions across the country. Each client has of course been impacted, but geography matters. California and the Northeast are suffering more intense business challenges than the Midwest, Texas, and the Rockies. As part of our responsibility during this unique time, we have collected thoughts and strategies from all consitutencies in our industry: lenders, private equity, large strategics, multi-channel family distributors, convenience retailers, among many others. If we can be of assistance to you in any way during this time, whether as a sounding-board or a trusted advisor, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of us at any time. We are all playing for the same team, and we all wish to recover as quickly and safely as possible.
In the meantime, for those of you that want a brief respite from the challenges you face daily, I share with you the following poem and link. It was part of our virtual church service on Easter Sunday – I found it compelling and was grateful that it was shared with my family. We are using this time to reflect on our priorities – and upon such reflection have found them to be in the relationships around us: our families, our communities, our friends, and our colleagues. We at Corner Capital value your relationship with our team.
