Andy Weber began his career at Shell Oil Company, serving in various sales and marketing management capacities, responsible for Shell’s investments in dealer and company-operated retail markets including New Orleans, Birmingham, and Chicago. Subsequent to Shell Oil, Andy served as an international consultant in Arthur D. Little’s Global Energy Practice, with a principal responsibility for the downstream strategy practice.

Carl Ray began his career with his family business Polk Oil Co., Inc., located in Lufkin, Texas and founded in 1937. Through his early career, Carl Ray ran a number of business units including lubricants distribution, convenience retailing, QSR management, and wholesale fuels distribution for Exxon, Mobil, and Texaco.

Don Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Business Development, began his career with Exxon in 1971. After managing several different retail markets in North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas, Don was instrumental in Exxon’s national entry into convenience retailing in the 1980’s. In the early 1990s, Don managed Exxon’s state and federal public, legislative, and regulatory affairs activities (including API) and also served as their Western Area Public Affairs Manager.

Rick Golman, Senior Vice President of Business Development, is a graduate of the University of Texas – Austin with over 40 years’ experience in convenience retailing and fuels. The founder of Quik Way Group in Dallas, Rick grew the company to over 80 company-operated convenience stores, distributing 200MMG of Shell and other branded fuels. In 2011, Quik Way merged with Empire Petroleum Partners where Rick served on the Board of Directors. Rick completed his Board tenure at Empire in 2016, and remains involved with NACS, SIGMA, TFFA and other industry organizations.

Elizabeth J. Bailey, Senior Associate, started her career in public accounting with Moss-Adams, LLP, where she managed financial reporting engagements for private sector clients. She has specific experience drafting financial statements, disclosures and audit reports. Subsequent to Moss-Adams, Elizabeth became Controller of Marine View Ventures (“MVV”), the economic development arm of one of the largest Indian tribes in the Pacific Northwest and a fuel distributor and retailer.

Kevin Henrick, Senior Associate, began his career as a commodity derivatives trader for Chicago-based family offices (Ronin Capital and Nico Trading), where he became a trading member of exchanges in Chicago and New York City. During this time, Kevin primarily focused on sell-side transactions, macro-economic research, and financial modeling for crude oil and natural gas products.

Steven Orr, Analyst, studied at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He most recently worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in New York City at Moelis & Company, where he helped execute sell-side engagements and buy-side advisories. Prior, Steven worked at: OpenGate Capital, a global private equity firm headquartered in Los Angeles, the USC Endowment Office, and Kuan Capital, a venture capital firm in Shanghai, China. He's an avid San Francisco sports fan and most enjoys spending free time with his friends and family.
